Puppies are wonderful… but they can also be hard work!
One minute they are curled up looking impossibly cute, and the next they are chewing your shoes, biting your hands, ignoring their name, or launching themselves at visitors with full puppy enthusiasm.
Let me first say, this is all very normal. Puppies are not trying to be naughty or difficult. They are learning about the world, testing what works, and trying to understand what we expect from them. The problem is, puppy behaviour can feel overwhelming when you are right in the middle of it.
That is exactly why we have created The Puppy Chronicles.
At Oday Vets Dog Training, we want to help puppy owners understand the common and sometimes not so common, problems that come with raising a young dog. From biting and chewing to toilet training, socialisation, confidence building, lead walking, settling, and everything in between, these posts will be here to guide you through puppyhood one step at a time.

The aim is not to make you feel bad or tell you that you are doing everything wrong. Puppyhood is a learning curve for both of you. Our goal is to give you simple advice, realistic expectations, and practical solutions that make life easier for you and your pup.
